The "Pivot Table" tool in Microsoft Excel has some similarities with OLAP tools.
To convince you if you aren′t already familiar with this function, try to create a small table with 5 columns (time, style, shop, value and quantity, as in our example). Load some data into the table and launch the Pivot Table. Place the dimensions as you wish in the Row, Column and Page settings and put the Measures in the data area. There we go - we have a tool that allows us to visualise in two dimensions any face of the cube in our example.
