I thought the members of this group might be interested in a new web
service we have released recently.
ClearForest SWS takes a small subset of ClearForest's entity extraction
toolkit and makes it available as a free web service. Using the service
you can pass unstructured text and receive back extracted companies,
organizations, geographies, people, etc.
The home page is located at http://sws.clearforest.com and the blog is
at http://sws.clearforest.com/blog.
We've also announced a contest for the best mashup built using the web
service. First prize is $2,000 and details can be found on the blog.
