We are looking for a machine learning scientist engineer to join the Yahoo!=
Web
Search Paid Inclusion(Search Submit) Relevance Team. Your essential
responsibility is to design and implement solutions to various relevance ta=
sks
using your background applying machine learning. Your work will have direct
impact on the quality of the paid inclusion product and Yahoo! Search as a
whole. As a senior member of the team you will play a leading role in drivi=
ng
improvements to machine learning practices and methods, and applying those
methods to large, challenging problems. Candidates for this position are hi=
ghly
motivated and great communicators who will be able to work closely with oth=
er
team members and communicate the value and technology behind machine learni=
ng to
people with diverse technical backgrounds.
Minimum Job Qualifications
* Experience applying machine learning to large data sets. 数据挖掘实验室
* Solid grasp of the theory behind predictive modeling and machine learning
techniques.
* Experience or interest in search engines.
* Solid statistical knowledge and intuition.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with people from a
variety of technical backgrounds.
Preferred Job Qualifications
* M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent.
* Minimum five years of industrial experience.
* Experience with C, C++, or Java and either Perl or Python.
* Experience with MATLAB, S-Plus, R, or other statistical tools.
* Established track record in research and development.
