Position Description
I. Major Purpose Apply statistical and mathematical techniques to the
ongoing pursuit of "understanding the customer"
II. Major Responsibilities
• Plan, execute, and effectively communicate the results of ad-hoc
database analyses
• Conducts analysis of market data and customer information,
identifying patterns, trends and translating those into actionable
insights
• Utilize measurement and analysis techniques to quantify results of
business activities. Assist in the education of marketing staff on
measurement and analysis methodologies
• Partner with internal clients to ensure business initiatives are
executed with optimal chance of success
Position Requirements • Bachelor's degree in statistics,
economics, mathematics, or related field. MBA preferred or 1-4 years
equivalent work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of linear regression, logistic regression, cluster
analysis, and time series analysis
• Experience with statistical methods including hypothesis testing
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent communication skills • Intellectual curiosity
• Ability to establish and sustain strong business relationships and
effectively prioritize business needs
